At Lcc we focused on the 4 abilities ( listening, reading, writing and speaking). We teach 10 hours a week divided in (english 6h, social studies 2h and math 2h). We aim to boost student’s skills through meaningful learning, which will allow them to be competitive and stay motivated to face the everyday challenges .
During the school year, the students develop different activities that encourage them to be prepared to perform a final public presentation, which is presented to their parents and classmates at the end of the year and is called “ the English day”
En el Lcc se trabajan las cuatro habilidades (escuchar, leer, escribir, y hablar). Nosotros tenemos una intensidad horaria de diez horas semanales que está distribuida en (6h horas de inglés, 2h horas de social studies y 2h de math). Nuestro principal objetivo es favorecer el aprendizaje significativo de los estudiantes el cual les permitirá ser competitivos y permanecer motivados para enfrentar los desafíos de un mundo cada vez más globalizado.
A lo largo del año escolar los estudiantes se ven involucrados en diferentes actividades que los motivan y preparan para hacer una presentación final en inglés en la cual están presentes los padres de familia y compañeros llamada “English day”
The English as a second language is a very important content in the curriculum of the LCC. Along with the ICT (Information and Communications Technology), the English language is part of the main emphasis in our school. In most of our English classes, we aim to incorporate ICT in the learning process by means of online games, videos, activities in which the Mimio and Edmodo platforms are used, and web pages such us comics and video creators where students express themselves by using all the cartoons and tools given in the pages.
El inglés como segunda lengua extranjera es muy importante en el plan de estudios del Liceo Cooperativo Campestre. Junto con las TIC (Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicaciones), el Inglés es parte del énfasis principal en nuestra institución.
En la mayoría de nuestras clases de inglés, nuestro objetivo es incorporar las TIC en el proceso de aprendizaje a través de juegos en línea, videos, actividades en las cuales se utilizan las plataformas de Mimio y Edmodo, y las páginas web tales como creadores de comics y videos donde los estudiantes se expresan mediante el uso de todos los dibujos animados y las herramientas dadas en las páginas.
